Membership Categories
Member (M)
Any individual who has completed 28 years of age with at least 3 years experience in a position of responsibility in technical or executive or teaching functions in a foundry or related Industry/ institute is eligible for membership in this category.

Student Member (SM)
A student of engineering or science from a recognized school, college or institute or a technical trainee in foundry can qaualify for student membership
He/She can remain a student Member for a maximum of three years which is to be renewed on a year to year basis.

Affiliate Member (AM)
Such Persons who are not directly connected to the foundry work,but are keenly interested and wish to keep themselves in touch with the happenings and progress in the foundry industry by receiving regularly the publications of the institute or by attending the meetings regularly can apply for membership of this category.
Life Member (LM)
Lifetime Membership by paying a one time fee can be availed by an existing member aged over 45, who has completed a stipulated minimum period of membership
Institutional Member (IM)
Educational Institutions, Research Organisations and Libraries can join as Institutional Members |

Company Member (CM)
A Company Member of the Institute is eligible to receive various services/privileges such as free copy of Indian Foundry Journal every month, a free entry in Indian Foundry Directory ( a reference book on Industry used by all Govt. and Non-Govt Organizations), opportunity to participate in Group activities like International Exhibition - GIFA, Hannover, etc. and weightage of 2 Votes in case of a Company having Annual Turnover below 1 Crore, 4 votes in case of a Company having Annual Turnover between 1 Crore to 5 Crores, 7 votes in case of a Company having Annual Turnover between 5 Crores to 10 Crores and 10 Votes for a Company having Annual Turnover above 10 Crores.
Profile of Company Members are listed free of charge in the IIF website www.indianfoundry.com . In addition facility for posting in online services under categories -Buy/Sell Used Equipment, Situations Vacant, Ask the Expert, Consultancy Required/Offered, Buyer Seller Platform are available free of cost to Company Members
