The Institute of Indian Foundrymen (The IIF), set up in 1950 is the all India Association of the metal-casting industry and acts as a nodal point of reference for customers and suppliers of foundry industry.
Headquartered at Kolkata, IIF operates through 4 Regional Offices at Kolkata, Delhi, Mumbai & Chennai; 4 Centres of Excellence at Chennai, Delhi, Kolkata & Pune and 24 Chapters and one activity centre spread all over India.
The Institute is a member of the World Foundry Organization (WFO), Asia Foundry Forum (AFF), BRICS Foundry Forum, Foundry Development Council (FDC) and Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).

Collecting, collating, maintaining and updating databank of foundries and their suppliers and publishing the Indian Foundry Directory every 5 years listing information relevant to the foundry sector
